Hungarian Village Finder, Atlas, and Gazetteer for the Kingdom of Hungary (HVF) on CD-ROM:

shows that Meschen was the German name for Muzsna, Bólya-Berethalom Járás, Nagy-Küküllő Megye in the old Kingdom of Hungary. Today it is Mosna in Romania.

HVF also shows that there were Greek Catholic, Greek Orthodox, and Luthern churches in the fairly large settlement. However, it appears that the LDS Family History Library only has the records from the Luthern church.
