Trying to locate Romanian Surname - Adams??
Posted by: Kim Adams Date: March 20, 2002 at 14:37:01

Hi, I hope someone is able to help me. I am trying to locate some information on my great-great grandfather. We know he is from Romania, however I do not know which town. He came to the United States in 1880 by way of Ellis Island. We know he changed his name to Adams but we are not sure if this took place prior to leaving Romania or after. I know my information is pretty sketchy, but hopefully someone has some information on Surnames that were changed to Adams. Thanks.
