marriage in Tortman

I have in my hands the original marriage certificate of my Great Grandfather and Great Grandmother. It states (in Romanian of course)that they were married in a church called "St. Parascheva" located in the village Tortman - Comona, Tortman Plasa Medgedea (if spelled correctly-hard to make out). The marriage took place on November 7, 1900 or 1901. If any of these seems remotely familiar, or you can offer any suggestions on where to go from here, please email me offline at
smokey4@home.com

Thanks
Marianne Cook
