Where was Szerb-Szentmiklos?

I've found that my ancestors arrived on Ellis Island in 1909 and listed their birth place as "Szerbszentmiklos". Is this now in Romania? What town (perhaps Sinnicolau Mare?) is it known as now? Does the LDS library have films of records from the late 1800's available for this location?
