As far as I can tell the spelling was Moskovitz. However, it could have been spelled Moskovici. The Moskovitz's were from Iasi. A cousin, Schmiel Berkovici still lives there. Lara Moskovitz (Berkovici) father's name was Yankel. Her sibilings were Itzick, Julius, Shruel, Sophica and Ruben. Yankel's siblings were Esther, Bernard, Bela, Sarah, Peretz, Ruchel and I.B. Yankel's father was Nathan. I don't know if all came to America. I am in the U.S. Let me know if you think there might be any connections.
