I am in possession of a family tree book written by a Mr.Lee Donison published in 1967. This is the information in it on Constantine Donison.

He was born in 1860, died july 1,1928, Fourth child of Nick Donison. Born and married in Romania. He left Radauti for Canada in 1902 to join brothers and father, who had come in 1900. He decided to come to Canada after the death of one son and two daughters in two weeks, believed caused by an epidemic.

The first year in Canada he lived in a cabin built by his brothers Laurenti and John, who worked in the Zehner area. In 1904 he moved his family ten miles south and three-quarters or a mile west of Rauleau. He homesteaded there until 1910, and them moved to the crystal Hill district. the school was built on a corner of his farm. He lived there until his death at the age of 68. He married the former Veronica Madie. She died Sept. 23,1937. They had two sons and 8 daughters.

All my best
Bonnie
