Were there lots of greeks in Romania?Have just started to research a greek family who gave birth to their son Nicholaos Vlismas in Sulina,Romania May 1,1889.He fled to Spain, where he fought in a"war" and then somehow caught a ship to England where he arrived in 1911.His parents were Polithoros and Stamatoula which sounds greek to me. Would you know if there was mass emmigration from Greece to Romania in the mid 1800's.Are there any historic conflicts from this era?
