Hello! I know Azerbaijan...my best friend comes from this area. I live in NY state. So many things I do not know about my family. No one seems to know or want to talk. I cannot explain why this is so important to me. I assume because our history has really been erased. Are you a practicing Jew? And you must be near my mum and dad's age? Ther are in their fifties (50's). Ii do not know what happened to my grand-mother's grand-parents. She lived with them before she met her parents in London. I think I already know of course. All of this brings me so much sadness. I am visiting Rumania next year. Perhaps I can find answers there. Oh, one more thing, what branch of Judiams did your family descend from? That might tell me something. And your great-grandfather, David- that was his first name w/ no translation? Thank you. Angel
