Hello! I am a little confused. Who are you? And are you in US, Rumania, or Moldova? Moldova is in Ukraine? Please pardon my ignorance...I am just trying to get everyhing clear. I know of some Moscovitch from Iasi. They live in London, England where my grand-mother moved to. I am only assuming her name is Rivka because it was Anglicized to Rebecca Moss. She had 2 sisters, Brenda and Renee (their names are most likely Anglicized as well). No one knows that much about Granny's parents, except that her mother was supposedly Rumanian and her father was Russian and in the military. With all of the border changed in geography, it is hard to say. Are you David Moscovitch? Were you named after anyone? One of my uncle's names is David and we always wondered because she never gave a reason. Do you have any old pics? I have a pic of Granny at a young age. Any information would be very much appreciated as I am trying to find where I come from. Thank you, Angel
