Hello Angel
My grandmother lives now in Moldova, the Surname Moscovici is the Romanian variant of a surname Mashkovich (is distributed in Moldova, Ukraine). My relatives were poor, the large Jewish family, during the second world war has moved to Central Asia and Azerbaijan. In family there were 8 children, the name Rivka is very much distributed. I the great-grandfather David Moscovici had sister with such name, but the destiny is unknown. However in 1910 the first daughter was born at him, it is probable we simply namesakes. Botosani- the next district (distance no more than 100 kms from Ungheni - Iasi).
