Language of the records would depend on the time period and the location and
the religion.
Hungarian, Croatian, Serbian, German, Latin, English, Romanian, and other
are some of the possible languages.

For example,
Deutsch Satulmare, Bukowina, Austria; now Satu Mare, Suceava, Romania.
Written in Latin and German.
In German titled kirchenbücher (parish church records)

For example,
In Hungarian titled anyakönyvek.
Kereszteltek Anyakönyve = Baptism Records
Házasultak Anyakönyve = Marriage Records
Halottak Anyakönyve = Death Records

In Latin titled matricula.
Matricula Baptisatorum = Baptism Records
Matricula Copulatorum = Marriage Records
Matricula Defunctorum = Death Records
