The information I have is that David J.'s parents were John and Phebe Ann (Zabrisker) Romaine.
John was born 1805 in New Jersey.
Phebe Ann Zabrisker was born to Effie Zabrisker 1807 in New Jersey.
John and Phebe's children were
David J. b. 11 April 1824 New Jersey, d. 18 Nov 1898 Hohokus, Bergen, New Jersey;
Effie b. 1829;
Albert b. 1831;
John b. 1835;
Isaac b. 1838.
