Came across a transcription of the following Rolston marriage record:
#013128-83 (York Co.) Robert Rolston, 28, Presket, Hamilton, agent, s/o Andrew and Mary Rolston, married Eliza J. Gibney, 29, Ireland, Eastville, single, d/o Hugh and Catherine Gibney. Wintesses James A Gibney and Mary A Gibney of Eastville, married 8 August (no year) at Eastville.
(Note: this was in with a page full of transcriptions of records from 1883.)
My interest .... The Gibney's. Trying to track any information I can about Hugh Gibney. If anyone has a connection to the above family that might have some history on Eliza's family, would love hearing.
