I have since found the following posted by Colin Rollo in 2005 on this site. He has different dates for the deaths of John ROLLO and Elizabeth THOMSON. Can you confirm your dates?

John Rollo and Elizabeth Thomson in fact had 14 children as recorded in the 1855 census; On the 5th (no month given) at 28 Hawhill Dundee, Peter Rollo, son of John Rollo, wright ,aged 48, born Cupar Fife, Married Cupar Fife 1826, 5 boys and 1 girl living, 3 boys and 4 girls dead and Elizabeth Thomson her her 14th birth aged 47 born dover England. Compulsory recording started in 1855 and thus the probable discrepancy in numbers.
Elizabeth Thomson died at the lunatic asylum Dundee on 2nd Feb 1874. She was the daughter of William Thomson and Elizabeth Johnston

My name is Colin Rollo and my great,great,great grandfather
was John Rollo he was born in Cupar Fife Oct 19 1809, he died May 4th 1886. He was married to a woman named Elizabeth Thomson born 1810 and died Feb 2nd 1874. They were married Dec 1st 1827. My records so far show there were two sons; David Rollo born 1853, and Peter Rollo born 1855.
This does not mean that there were not more kids.
