Hi Jim,
Sorry I didn't give you more to go on. My Jacob was born about 1790 in NJ, married 1813 in Sussex Co, NJ to Susan Ayers also born 1790'ish NJ. Their first child, Parmilla, was born there in 1816. They then moved to Licking Co. Ohio and had more children and lived out their lives there. Through another researcher I'm led to believe he might be the son of a Charles Rolison. There is a Charles with a brother Aaron who could be his father. Also, I know no more about Susan. This has been my deadend line for years.
