Hi Debbie,
Apologies if someone else has already mentioned this (I'm in a bit of a rush and dont have time to check all the posts here!), but there is a ROLLASON rootsweb mailing list to which quite a few people researching the surname ROLLASON from the Dudley area belong. Some of us have managed to link our families up and have discovered that we are related!
Here's a couple of Reuben Rollasons that I found in my notes:
Reuben Rollinson baptised at St Thomas' Church, Dudley, on 24th December 1826 to Joseph (a miner) and Hannah
Rollinson of Dudley.
However, a Reuben Rolinson of Dudley was buried at St Thomas' Church on 21st Jan 1845, aged 18 years, so that could well be him.
Another Reuben Rollason was baptised 25th July 1830 at Rowley Regis (very close to Dudley) to William and Ruth Rollason of Whiteheath.
Anyway, good luck with finding your ancestor, and do come and join us on the ROLLASON-L mailing list!
Cheers,
Antonia
