Is anyone descended from either DeForest P. Rolfe or his brother Rollin M. Rolfe? They were living in Nebraska City, Otoe County, Nebraska, in 1860 & later. Their father was Joseph Rolfe who was born 12 May 1800 in Monmouth County NJ, and then moved with his parents as a child to Steuben County NY where DeForest & Rollin were born. Their mother was Eliza Reed Manrose of Dutchess County NY, daughter of Gilbert Reed.
The parents of Joseph were Moses Rolfe, born in Virginia, and Mary Coon.
The wife of DeForest was Susan Gilmore, a native of Steuben County NY.
The wife of Rollin was Harriet Emmons, a native of Erie County NY.
