Would it be possible that Jeramiah Rolfe born in Writtle England 1808 was in any way connected to Thomas Rolfe the son of John Rolfe and Pocahontas. My granfather had a newspaper clipping of Pocahontas and it was written on it that Pocahontas was his 8th generation back grandmother. We have lots of people in the family who are very dark and Indian looking. I don't think it would be possible as Thomas only had a daughter. Family members here in Australia are still working on the connection.
