Sebastian Rohrer came to America as a Catholic but later went by Christian Rohrer when he joined the Church of Christ in Lincoln Illinois. He entered the United States through New York with his friend Andrew Roemer. He met and married his wife on the Cochran Plantation in New Castle Delaware. Catherine Cedar Rohrer came from southern Wurttemberg but where in southern Wurttemberg she came from remains a mystery. Two of her children died and are buried some where in New Castle Delaware. According to the book by one of her descendants she was a Lutheran. They later moved to Jackson County Illinois and later to Logan County where they died.
