I found an 18-year old Christian Rourer/Roarer in the 1850 census. Briefly, Name: Christian Rourer, Age: 18, Estimated Birth Year: 1831, Birth Place: Ohio, Gender: Male, Home in 1850: Elk, Monroe, Ohio, Page: 324, Roll: M432_712. Household is headed by a 61-year old Jacob Rourer/Roarer, b. Switzerland. 47-year old female, probably the wife, listed just below Jacob is Ann I. Rourer/Roarer, b. Switzerland.
