I do not have my rohrer notes with me at the time..so I will post more info on Frederick
Rohrer tomorrow. The Frederick Rohrer who
left for PA and lived amoungst the Indians
is NOT part of the Rohrersville,MD line.
The History of Washington Co., MD is incorrect. (there are many errors...).
I sent all the corrections on this line to
Mr. Neal of KY after he published Vol. I on
the Rohrers. He was kind to mention me when
he printed Vol. 2, correcting the errors
"lifted" from the History of Washington Co., MD. 1906. Proves you can't believe everything
you read. The correct Frederick Rohrer is
buried next to his daughter "Betsy" Thomas...
one would of thought this fact would of made it easy to see that the Frederick that >PA was indeed the wrong one.
Several years ago I did alot of work on the
Rohrersville,MD rohrers....the data is collecting dust in my bedroom...time to dust it off--LOL.
