Searching for a directline male descendant of JOHN ROGERS Born abt 1814, OHIO to do the DNA test for our Rogers DNA group.
Male DNA contributor must have the Rogers surname. John's wife, MARTHA SUIT, sons; WALTER 1840, WILLAIM 1841, REUBEN 1844, ALBERT LORAIN 1845, CHARLES 1853. Sons born in HAMILTON COUNTY, OHIO. You will not be ask to pay for testing kit...test is for genealogical purposes only. We believe that John is the son of FREDERICK ROGERS of North Carolina. I BELONG TO A DNA GROUP THAT ARE RELATED TO FREDERICK ROGERS. We are trying to help a female descendant of John's prove that Frederick is her ancestor. Family Tree DNA testing Kit No. 156950 sent priority mail to descendant of John Rogers on August 29, 2009. However, the person that said he would do the male DNA test for us (he is not the person that has possesion of the testing kit) has not gotten back to us. We would like to pass this testing kit on to another male that descends from this John Rogers line. If you are a directline descendant of John Rogers, born Abt 1814 in Ohio, and would do this test for us please contact me. You will not be ask to pay for the kit as long as you do the test and send it on to the Family Tree DNA lab. The sole purpose of this test is for genealogical purposes.
It is believed that this line is connected to Frederick Rogers from North Carolina. Our Rogers DNA group are related to this Frederick Rogers of North Carolina.
