Carol;
Well, it looks as if we must be cousins as I have the family you report in my tree. Your Joshua P. Rogers is the youngest sibling of my 3rd great-grandfather Zorobabel. The names Zorobabel and Severn appear over and over in this family. In fact, I have very good circumtancial evidence that there are three Zorobabel's in a row not counting the one who I have as a son of your Joshua P. Rogers.
What I am desperately searching for is good solid evidence that my grandad and Joshua P. Rogers are sons of the Zorobabel who married an Edith Ellender in Sussex Co., DE. He was quite a bit older than she and was born in 1754 in Accomac Co., VA. He died just after Joshua was born and she remarried and moved with her family to Preble Co., OH. There are several children by this second marriage, all with the last name Hayward.Hope to be able to compare other notes with you.Roy Beals
