Adenstone Rogers AR
Hello, Rogers researchers.
I am new to this line.I have an Adenston Rogers who married Frances Jane Slinkard in 1851 Pope Co AR. I believe that he was born ~1825 in AR as per census below. He may be the son of Mary Carden and "Adustin" Rogers.
In 1850 Yell county census (Galla Rock) near Pope Co line
Henry M. Carden 22 AR
Elizabeth 24 AR
William 5 AR
Adestone Rogers 25 AR *
Other Rogers of interest in the area:
"Dorwell" (Doswell?) Rogers on tax list for AR county, Missouri territory 1816
George Carden, Jacob Slinkard and Adustin Rogers all listed as early settlers of the area (about 1822) that became Conway/Pope/Yell counties. The Slinkards apparently came from NC>MO; the Cardens came from TN
Mary Cardin and Adustin Rogers married in 1824 AR territory/ Pulaski county/ Welborn township. This is before Conway, Yell, and Pope became counties
Also, a "Jones" Rogers Pope Co AR 1830 census.I'm not sure if he is connected.
