Fellow ROGERS Researchers
The Worcester County--GenWeb website's 1810 Worcester County Census shows a "Elkanah Roggers" family in its HARDWICK, MA. census sheet. Can any ROGERS researchers identify or account for this family in their lineage? My ROGERS "MAYFLOWER" Line includes many "Elkanah(s)" in its lineage, but only one fits the age profile of this HARDWICK family. At first, I thought it was my line's "Elkanah b.1760 Eastham & Tamesin Snow b.1785 Eastham" living in nearby Dana, MA.,but I double checked my 1810 Dana, MA. Census & my Elkanah ROGERS family shows up right where they ought to be (with a somewhat simlar age profile). I thought the ROGERS MAYFLOWER lineage had a corner on the "Elkanah ROGERS'S" in Mass. during this time period. I would like to hear from any fellow researchers who may have insight on the lineage of the HARDWICK, MA. "Elkanah ROGGERS"(sic) family. THANKS, PAUL M. ROGERS
