My name is Yvan Roger and I live in Ottawa, ON (Canada). I have been working on the genealogy of the Roger Family over the last 30 years. With the help of my son, I have put together a Web Site for the genealogy of the Roger Family, from Gabriel to my son's child. The site is in French and has not been translated yet. The history of the 11 generations is still under development and already contains over 40 pages. The site also contains a family tree, pictures and other information. Feel free to visit it.
I am currently posting available information I have on the Roger genealogy to the program "Family Tree Maker". However, I am very far from having a complete set of information for the overall Roger Family in America. Should you have info that would compliment what I have, your own family branch likely and where it connnects to my family tree, I would most appreciate to receive such info.
My dream would be to gather a complete set of data of the Gabriel Roger family from 1665 up to now and create an association of the Roger Family Genealogy. The creation of such association could provide an opportunity to install a plaque on the land our first ancestor occupied on the Ile d'Orléans.
I was born in a village called St-Agapit, near Quebec City and moved to Ottawa in 1967.
