Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Hi Paul, did you have a look on the website I told you? It`s all written in english. If I can I surely help. But first you have to be certain in which place Carl was born.As I had a look in www.familysearch.org,they named 3 in the same birthyear.(They are possibly not all correct)I can only find certifications in my area. But if you find out the place,I can tell you where to ask and I can surely translate,if you need.Mostly there are big Main-record-offices,(Hauptarchiv in german)depending also on the religion. In my case,it`s in Koblenz, but you find much informations in the homepages I gave you yesterday.Did you read all the other Roesler informations on this forum?I read them all, there`s no information about the town I live but maybe you find a connection.Greetings from Daniela Petry.
