Römer/Börst family connection??

My great-grandmother, Katherina Börst, was supposedly orphaned at the age of 5, in 1850. We believe that she was connected somehow to the family of Valentine Römer, whowas born in Baalborn and who lived in Ripley (Brown County) Ohio.

In 1868, Katherina Börst was Godparent to Katherina Römer, the daughter of Valentine and his wife, Katherina Linn. This baptism took place in a Lutheran church.

Katherina Börst was thought to be Catholic.

Her date of birth: May 21, 1845.

Thanks, Buffy
