I am researching the Roeder family of Iowa and Minnesota. My gr gr grandmother was Eva Roeder who married John Greiner in Dubuque in Nov 1873. John died in 1877. Eva and her son Nic moved to Rock Valley, Iowa in about 1892. I just discovered (after 20+ years working on this) that Eva had a sister Mararetha (Margaret) who married a Petrus (Peter) Kohl in Prussia 4-26-1866. I know Margaret lived in Sioux Falls South Dakota at least from 1905-1912. If any thing sounds familiar or if you have any of these names on pictures it would be a miracle!!! Eva and Margaret had two brothers I know of: John and Peter. Thanks!
