Nancy ROE b 1794 married David VAN RENSSELAER probably 1815. Nancy said to be daughter of William ROE who came from Britain to fight for the colonies in the Rev. (Wm. lived in Kinderhook) Have been unable to find marriage record, Their son George Clinton Van Rensselaer was born in Oneida, then they lived in Schoharie before going on to Ohio.
There were several ROE families in both Cos. Does any of this sound familiar? Have lots of ROE data, but not the proof I need. These were both very prominent families, where should I look for proof?
