Elizabeth Roe m. David H. Allen 1887, Manhattan, New York
Do you have any ROE families in Manhattan, New York?
Elizabeth ROE married David H. ALLEN on December 14, 1887 in Manhattan, New York, per civil marriage registrations.
I believe this was David ALLEN from Co. Monaghan, Ireland, born 1860, the son of John ALLEN and Matilda CALVIN of Corduff/Cordoo townland near Newbliss, Killeevan parish. This David Allen from Co. Monaghan was killed in an accident in New York before 1911, leaving a widow with children named "David" and "Grace."
Elizabeth Roe and David H. Allen's daughter Grace Matilda ALLEN was born December 22, 1891 in Manhattan, per civil birth registrations, and I believe they had a son David ALLEN born a year or two earlier, though I haven't found his birth record. LDS-IGI shows a "David H. Allen" born March 7, 1892, Rural Grove, Montgomery Co., New York, with no parents listed and "no source information available."

I haven't been able to identify the David Allen-Elizabeth Roe family in the 1900 census, but is this same family in the 1910 New York census, with widowed Elizabeth Roe Allen and children?
1910 New York census, Manhattan Ward 9, Morton Street:
Elizabeth Allen, 52, widow, born New York, parents born Ireland, mother of 4 (? number hard to read) children with 2 living, occupation: Janitress-House, rents home.
David A., son, 20, born New York, father born Ire., mother born New York, occupation: Driver/Dept. store
Grace, 18, daughter, born New York, father born Ire., mother born New York, occupation: Sizer/Bookbindery

David ALLEN of Co. Monaghan is my relative and I would love to find descendants, if any. His brothers William ALLEN (born 1858) and Archibald "Archie" ALLEN (born c. 1865-1870) also emigrated from Co. Monaghan to the United States, but they didn't remain in touch with the family in Ireland, so relatives don't know what happened to them. I've been searching for these ALLEN brothers in censuses and other records, but results are inconclusive.
What became of Elizabeth ROE who married David H. ALLEN in 1887 in Manhattan? What became of their daughter Grace Matilda ALLEN born 1891, and their possible son David ALLEN born about 1890?
Will be glad to share any information.
