My g.g.g.grandfather was William Rodwell b. Abt 1788 in Wingrave Bucks, and still living in 1851. I know 2 of his children, William (1816-1898, b. Wingrave Bucks) and Rebecca (1822-1889, believed born Tring Herts). William junior married a Harriett (surname unknown, b. abt 1821), and these are my g.g.grandparents. Their children included Jane (1845-1926), Rebecca (1848-1913), Joseph (b. 1850), [possibly Elizabeth, b. 1855 ?], Catherine (b.1863) and Mary A. (b.1866). Jane was born in Brentford Middlesex in 1845, and married my great grandfather Alfred Fincher in 1869 in the Tring area. Their first children were registered in Kennington Middlesex, but subsequent ones were in Tring. I do not know of any connection to the Rodwells who had the soft drinks firm in Tring, referred to in other postings. I'd be grateful of any additional information about my ancestors and their family.
