I am trying to trace my family roots in Ascension Parish, Louisiana. My great grand parents are Louis John Rodriguez. Louis was born around 1887 in Ascension Parish, Louisiana. He dided around 1934 at the age of 46 in Ascension Parish. On January 25, 1909 he married Olympe Mary Bourgeois. Mary was born January 7, 1890 in Ascension Parish and was baptized March 23, 1890 in the St. Theresa Catholic Church in Ascension Parish. She is the daughter of Pierre Vileor Bourgeois and I think her mother is Mary Olivia Babin.
