Redican - Rodahan - Leitrim sept - Name evolution

This is the most likely name evolution for the Redican name in Leitrim today.

Ua Rodachain
O'Rodachain *
Rodaghan **
Rodahan / Rodohan
Rodican
Redican

There are some subtle spelling differences, and indeed variations by individual families;
* O'Rodochain / O'Rodacháin etc..
** Rodaughan
*** Rodohan / Redahan / Redehan / Redihan etc..

My specific family evolved/and or, are recorded as follows;
Rodaghan (parish records from 1844)
Rodichan (Griffith)
Rodahan (likely immigration record c. 1892)
Rodican / Redican (1901 census - 2 family branches)
Rodohan / Redican (post 1930 - 3 family branches)

Roddy - Leitrim sept
It's hard to say where the Roddy or Rodaghan spelling started in Leitrim, but it's likely that that the Leitrim Roddy families were never Rodaigh(e), but got to Roddy directly from Rodachain? Feedback appreciated!
