Dear Barabara Cady

My husband is David Pollard...His grandfather was John Oliver Pollard - lived somewhere in the Rhondda Valley, in Wales. HIS father was John Pollard, (married Anne - ) but somewhere not much further back the family had come from Cornwall. May well have been tin-miners as they seems to have been miners (of coal) in Wales.

It's quite possible that we are connected somewhere - maybe we can help each other. David's father Vivien Oliver Pollard is 85. Several of his relatives are buried in the little cemetery at Church Village, near Pontypridd, Wales. I will look closer at Tombstones next time we visit Wales & see if there are any clues there. (We live in Scotland)

Hope we can help each other.

Best Wishes
SALLY
