Hi Mark! I found Harolds fathers obituary in an old photograph book I had. His father was George b. 1881 Midland Michigan married to Myrtle Chase b. Ludington Mason Co Michigan. I remember Myrtle well even though I was little. Still doesn't clear up the question of Harold "Maxted" and how Harold could have two separate families. And now I'm really curious about Myrtles Chase family and whether they connect to Moses Chase and Rebecca Fairbanks. The obit says George was in the trucking industry. Georges father was John b.1860 married to Anna Bartonbacher but the Rockwells that I have stop there. Anna is buried at the Jerome Cemetary in Midland. I have no pictures of any of my Rockwells and am hoping a "cousin" will share.
