I'll give this a try, as I've reach a dead end in my research.
I am currently researching the ROCKWELL line of my ancestry. The only information I have so far is this:
Charls Rockwell, b. circa 1800s in Alabama. It was said his mother was a Native American. He married a woman named Florence from Montgomery Co. Alabama who was 30 years younger than him. She was in a wheelchair.
Together they produced Lillian (could also be Florence Jr.), Mark, and Annie Rockwell.
Lillian (or Florence jr.) married WILLIAM SHANKLIN who was born c. 1846 in Ohio. It is said he was a Quaker (though i am not sure this is accurate).
I cannot seem to get past the 1800 mark in extended my family tree farther in the past. If anyone knows any info or can help, PLEASE email me! Thanks!!!
