I believe Noah's father was Silas Rockwell, a Revolutionary War pensioner. Details will all be in my forthcoming book on the descendants of John Rockwell of Stamford, Connecticut, but you will want to fetch Family History Library film #972070, which has all of the Rockwell Rev. War pension applications. And, most important for your case, in a 1949 application for membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution, Bird-Ellen Gage O'Keefe listed the following children: “Lewis, b. 1782; Chloe, b. 1784; Eunice, b. 1786; Abigail, b. 1790; Daniel, b. 1797; Silas, b. 1799; Noah, b. 1801; and Martin, b. 1802. One of my correspondents found this application at the DAR library in Washington, D.C. Contact me directly and I can put you in touch with her. I take the 1801 as approximate, and think he's your Noah. Do you have records of his family that suggest an exact date?
