Rockwells, Dakota Co., NE - late 1800s

Caroline "Carrie" Haunschild, born in 1859 in IA, married a Mr. Rockwell after the 1880 census, probably in Dakota Co., NE, and they had two children; Lena born in 1887 and Beulah born in 1890. On the 1900 census, Carrie is listed as a widow, living with her daughters in Homer, NE. Does anyone know this Mr. Rockwell's first name?
He was probably born in Indiana (father of Lena and Beulah was born in IN according to the censuses). Was he a son of John B. and Jemima Rockwell? An R. D. Rockwell was the executor of Carrie's mother's estate in 1892, but I don't know if he was Carrie's husband.
