There is a headstone in Nanticoke Valley/Union Center Cemetery which bears the inscriptions of both Ephraim and Lucy. It calls her Lucy C. Brigham, wife of Ephraim, 1810-1882, aged 72 years. So I'd say Brigham is here maiden name. See Deborah J. Barnes' transcription at http://www.rootsweb.com/~nybroome/brnant3.htm
Page 1 of the same site shows a couple, Abel and Betsy Brigham, who may be worth researching as possible parents of Lucy.
