Ken, Robert Rockwell received 250 acres of land in Virginia on August 19, 1637, page 460,Patent Book 1, Part 1. This same Robert went to Anne Arundel Co., Maryland, and there his name was listed as "Rockhold".
My line is from John/Mary Richardson...
Charles/Elizabeth Wright...Asel/Ann Rowe.
...Dawson/Ruth ?...Francis W./Sarah Shell.
..Dimmon/Martha Foust. I would be more than happy to pay for a DNA test with a suitable Rockwell to see if we have a commmon ancestor. Orin
