Hi Jeanne. Your grandfather is Adelard Rochon who married Hope Cameron? If so, I have a copy of a baptismal certificate for their daughter Marie Hermine H. Rochon. She was born July 8, 1916 in Ponteix, Sask and was baptised July 9, 1916 in the parish of Notre Dame d'Auvergne by Father N. Poirier. Her godfather was Arthur Marcotte and godmother was Hermine Germain. She was married to Martin Charbonneau on April 2, 1945 in Regina. I was under the impression that Adelard was Maxime's brother. I'm not so sure. Someone sent me a list of his brothers and sisters and there was no Adelard. I'm in the process of confirming this line I've been sent. There was also an Arthur Rochon in Ponteix who was married to Marie Lesperance and they had a son Hector Wilfrid Marie Rochon born June 8, 1919. Baptised June 15, 1919 same parish and priest. His godparents were Wilfrid Giroux and Angeline Lapointe. I don't know if they were related or not. I have written a letter to a great aunt who is in Ponteix inquiring about these two Rochons. Hopefully she will remember who they are.

Email me directly and perhaps we can figure this out together.
