Doesn't exactly answer you question but it may help:
The french Rocheron grandfather was called Thomas, born circa 1576 in Soissons, Picardie (Aisne), France. He married on 20 June 1576 to Perrine Bonnier or Bouvier, born circa 1580 in Soissons.Their son, Julien Rocheron was born in 1607 in Soissons. He married in 1634 in Sainte- Come-de-Vair to Martine Lemoyne, born circa 1611 in Maine (Orne), France. Julien Rocheron & Martine Lemoyne both died in France, around 1650.
Their three children, two brothers and a sister all settled in New France and they became the ancestors of the Rochon families. They were born in Saint-Come-de-Vair, Maine Sarthe, France. Simon Rocheron was baptized on 6 February 1633, Gervais on 1 November 1634 and
Marie-Madeleine on 21 April 1639.
Marie-Madeleine Rocheron married in 1657 to François Gaulin and they had eleven children. The only son to have children was Robert Gaulin.
Simon Rocheron married in 1663 to Mathurine Bisson and they had seven children.Mathurine Bisson was the widow of Nicolas Pré and she had two sons with him.
Gervais Rocheron married on 26 October 1671 in Ile d'Orleans to a 14 year old girl, Marie-Madeleine/Marguerite Guyon, born in 1657 in Quebec, daughter of Claude Guyon and Catherine Colin. Gervais and Marie-Madeleine have fifteen children, including the four sons who perpetuated the Rochon surname.
It seems that the adoption of Rochon surname started with the second generation. The Rocheron lineage is known in North America as Rochon.
Charles-Jacques Rocheron, eleventh child of Gervais Rocheron and Marie-Madeleine Guyon was baptized on 12 September 1692 and married on 8 November 1723 in Château-Richer to Thérèse David, born 19 December 1698, daughter of Jean David dit Pontiff and of Marie-Anne Pr 130vost. Their daughter, Marie-Madeleine Rochon, born in 1731 became in 1758, the wife of Louis-Augustin Gingras.
Thérèse David died in 1743 and Charles re-married on 22 February 1745 to Marie Amiot-Villeneuve, baptized on 30 September 1718, daughter of Pierre Amiot-Villeneuve and Marie-Thérèse Gilbert.Four children are born, one of whom was Jean-François Rochon, baptized on 16 November 1750 and who married on 22 November 1773 to Marie-Catherine Coté, daughter of François Coté and Marguerite Trudel.
In the fourth generation, Jean-Baptiste Rochon, farmer, born in April 1788 married on 7 October 1823 in St Augustin to Louise Carpentier, daughter of Louis Carpentier and Marie-Josephe Ouvard.
With the fifth generation, Louis Rochon, farmer married on 23 January 1855 at St-Augustin to Flavie Beaupré, daughter of Pierre Beaupré and Marie Masson.
François Rochon, farmer, married on 22 April 1890 in St-Augustin de Portneuf, to Rose-Délima Dubuc, daughter of Jean-Bapriste Dubuc and Adélaide Gingras. Adelaide Gingras is a link with Louis-Augustin Gingras and Marie Rocheron, daughter of the first marriage of Charles-Jacques and Thérèse David.
Léonda Rochon, born on 17 September 1893, married Blanche-Irene Gosselin on 7 November 1925 in the church of St-Jacques de Montreal.Blanche-Irene Gosselin was born on 19 December 1925 at St-Paul de 'Ile-aux-Noix, daughter of Jean-Baptiste Gosselin and Rose-Anna Clouette. They had five children. Roger was born on 7 June 1929 in Montrel and was married on 30 July 1953 to Pierrette Boisvert in the church St-Louis de France in Montreal.
Robert Rochon, son of Léonda Rochon and Blanche-Irene Gosselin was from a family of eight children. He was born on 22 March 1955 in Montreal and was married to Lise Harvey, daughter of Jules Haevey and Lucette Tremblay. Ribert and Lise have two children, Josselin was born on 23 December 1981 in Verchères and Carl was born on 15 August 1985 also in Verchères.
