marilyn,
i have very little more about my Eulalie Goy than what in the post to which you replied. I assume that there was a close connection between my ggg-grandmere and the family of Eulalie Rocheblave, since Eulalie Rocheblave was named as god mother, & my ancestor's name was presumable in her honor. Perhaps there was even a family relationship. You say that your Rocheblave family were in Santo Domingo and Eulalie's mother, Jeanne Catherine Goe was listed as a native of that island. I have no other information about family there. Eulalie married Dominique Mercier, whose mother Josephine Aubin was also listed as a native of Santo Domingo. I would really love to find more information on the families time in Santo Domingo and am most interested in anthing you can share. My family were fpoc when in New Orleans. What about yours?
Caroline
