Looking for the connection between Hezekiah C. Roby b.25 March 1807 Jessamine Co., KY (with spouse, Frances "Fannie" Holloway, daughter of George Holloway and Frances Tiller) and Wesley Roby (possibly John Wesley Roby) b. abt 1809 KY (with spouse, Ellen Talbot, daughter of John Talbot and Frances Holloway who was the daughter of John Holloway and Elizabeth Hudson) Ellen Talbot and her parents were from Clark Co., KY.
Both Frances Holloways were cousins from KY. I tend to believe both Hezekiah C. Roby and Wesley Roby were brothers or cousins. I find that they moved from KY and were living in Monroe Co., MO by 1850.
Is it possible that the Roby men were the sons of Thomas and Elizabeth (Cloud) Roby? Records list the father of both Hezekiah C. and Wesley as being born in Maryland and records show Thomas Roby as being born in Maryland. Records also show their mother as being born in KY and the birthplace of Elizabeth Cloud was in KY.
I would love to be able to solve this mystery. Thanks.
