Don't get excited as I probably can't help you much, I just had to ask about your Roby connection? You see, my fathers family, my ggrandmother was an Ann Hulme Roby 1847 born in Blackrod,Lancs, married to John Roby who was from Wigan and then from Blackrod. John's father was a Thomas and his mother was Alice Isherwood. I have searched and searched for this family. Thomas was the son of a Henry Roby who I cannot locate. My ggrandparents came to US in 1880 to Somerset Co., Pa. area.
