Joseph Roby was born 16 Sep 1815 in Canada ... probably Vaudreuil where he was Baptized. He married Elizabeth Poirior/Paerie. She was born 25 Nov 1819 in Vaudreuil, Canada and died after 1860. They had 3 children all born in NH.
1. Clara born circa 1842
2. Mary Louise born 1 Jan 1852 in NH. Died circa 1933. A hand written note mailed by Rev. John E. Finen D.D. dated Dec 7, 1932 sent to Mr. C. P. Wolft in Gardenville, NY says "The records of the this Church certify under date of Oct 2nd, 1852 to the Baptism of Mary Louise Robie born Jan 1, 1852 of Joseph Robie and Elizabeth Paerie. Said record is signed by Rev. William MacDonald with sponsors Charles Cotton and Adelaide Provencheu". I believe this church was in Manchester, NH. She married Joseph Alfred Fagnan. They are bothe buried in 14 Holy Helpers Catholic Church Cemetery, Buffalo, NY
3. Napoleon (Lewis??) born circa 1859 in NH

It is assumed that Joseph Roby left Canada after 1830 and before 1842 and probably married Elizabeth Poirier in NH. The only record of Joseph and Elizabeth found in the US is the 1860 census of Ward 1, Manchester City, Hillsborough County, NH, dwelling number 374, family number 447 enumeration date of 13 June 1860.

What church was Mary Louise Roby Baptized in?
When did Joseph and Elizabeth Roby die?
Where and when were Joseph & Elizabeth married?
Where are Joseph & Elizabeth Roby buried?

Thank you for any help you may be able to give.

Arnold Davis
