Please help me find JAMES K. ROBY, born approximately 1850, died 1878 in Fulton County, Arkansas. He is buried in the middle of a field on the old Ellis farm in Fulton County.
I am trying to find his parents. He was raised in the G. Thompson family since at least the age of two in Fulton County. He always went by the name Roby (as indicated by the censuses on which I found him, so he was not adopted). G. Thompson married Eliza Pumphrey, I alway thought she was James K.'s natural mother, now I'm not sure. Of everything I find about her, I cannot find where she had been previously married to a Roby.
James K married Sarah Jane Cooke around 1868.
