Here is the information I have on the Kattie Roby & Fred Perkett family.

1.Kattie ROBY was born on 5 May 1895 in Arkansas. She died on 29 Sep 1979 in Stockton, San Joaquin, California.

Kattie married Fred PERKETT son of George T. PERKETT and Mary O'BRIEN. Fred was born on 23 Aug 1890 in Eureka, Greenwood, Kansas.

They had the following children:

2Mi.       Frank Elmer PERKETT was born on 30 Aug 1914 in Paden, Okfuskee, Oklahoma. He died1 on 6 Dec 1992 in ,San Joaquin, California.

3Fii.       Kozette PERKETT was born on 27 Aug 1916 in Payden, Okfuskee, Oklahoma. She died2,3 on 21 Nov 1935 in Mesa, Maricopa, Arizona. She was buried4 on 23 Nov 1935 in Mesa, Maricopa, Arizona.

On the 14 Nov 1935, Kozette Stewart, seven months pregnant, was starting a fire in the wood stove of her home in Mesa. She used kerosene to start the fire. The stove exploded and she caught on fire. She died a week later in the South Side hospital in Mesa, Arizona.

Kozette married Charles Leon STEWART son of Charles Vester STEWART and Della SISTRUNK in Dec 1934. Charles was born on 18 May 1915 in Gotebo, Kiowa, Oklahoma. He died in Mar 1986 in Mesquite, Dona Ana, New Mexico.

       4Fiii.       Florence Juanita PERKETT was born on 25 Jun 1919 in Paden, Okfuskee, Oklahoma. She died5 on 29 Sep 1982 in ,San Joaquin, California.

       5Fiv.       Lucille PERKETT was born on 25 Nov 1921 in Paden, Okfuskee, Oklahoma. She died6 on 17 Dec 1992 in ,San Joaquin, California.

3.Obituary, Mesa Journal Tribune, 22 Nov 1935."Young Woman Dies Of Burns The victim of burns she received at her home six miles east of Gilbert, Mrs. Kozette Stewart, 18, died yesterday morning at Southside hospital. Mrs. Stewart was the wife of Lee Stewart. They were married last December. The young woman was burned a week ago while building a fire with kerosene, hospital attaches said. Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Gibbons mortuary."
