Hi Leann,I too am a Robles descendant. In regards to your posting, I had the same response. I have started to use the family search centers of the LDS church(Mormons). Their records are amazing. They have the birth, death and marriage records in most of the towns of Puerto Rico. I have been able to trace most of my family back to the late 18th century so far. They only charge 6.oo per microfilm and thats for shipping and handling. I have some Robles info from Puerto Rico. Please post and Ican see if its what you need. Good luck with your search.
ps their website is familysearch.org you can find a search center near you, and if you go to library there is a catalogue there. type in the name of the town you want and it will show you whats available again, Joyce Santiago-Maloy
